Participants will learn about jams and jellies, try different flavors and learn how to make their own at home. The session begins with tasting and discussing the difference between jams and jellies. Then it’s time to put on those aprons, tie back that hair and roll up our sleeves to put our newfound knowledge to work.
Participants will work with the instructor making the jam of the day (chosen ahead of time). Time will fly by as the fruit becomes a jam before your very eyes. It will be cooked in a beautiful copper jam pan and then “jammed” into jars for your special occasion. As we clean up, we will enjoy a glass of champagne and toast to our Bride. All that is left to be done is to put the labels on the jars after they cool.
Participants need to bring an apron, wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, and tie back their hair.
This session will run about 3-4 hours.
The cost is $200.00.
The Value: Priceless!!
Pictures may be taken during the session.
Payment is usually made in two parts. To book the session, a down payment of half the amount is required. The balance is due at the end of the session on the jammin’ day. Let’s get started.
